Hall
Duns Tew Village Hall
Duns Tew Village Hall stands at the heart of village life and has been a gathering place for generations. Originally built in the 1870s as the village school, it was later adapted to serve as a community hall and continues to be one of Duns Tew’s most valued buildings.
Today the hall hosts a wide range of activities from the Duns Tew Drama Group to Ballet, yoga, circuit training, Parish Council meetings and band practice. It is also the home of the popular Charity Coffee mornings held on the first Saturday of each month, where locals come to support their favourite charity, drink coffee and enjoy homemade cakes.
The hall is available for private hire and has a well appointed kitchen and capacity for 70 guests. It is used for private parties, small weddings and funerals.
The Hall is also the site for the Boules tournament and Barbeque. All of this is possible because it is run by a committee of willing volunteers that ensure the hall remains central to village life.
The village hall depends upon the support of everyone in the community, so please do support it!
