Dyslexia Research Trust
The mission of the Dyslexia Research Trust (DRT) is to help people with learning difficulties, especially young children, to achieve their full potential in life.
The charity's co-founder, Professor John Stein, says: "Often dyslexic children are very talented. It’s just that their talents don’t include reading and spelling." We endeavour to help children realise their potential through gaining a better understanding of their difficulties with reading and writing.
We are a small charity based in Reading researching various methods for the treatment of dyslexia and associated conditions. We also provide free assessments and treatment to children whose parents are unable to afford expensive glasses and the support required in order to help their children thrive.
Dyslexia can be a debilitating condition. We welcome any support from individuals and businesses which will help us to conduct vital research, raise awareness and provide support for sufferers in the future.
Please do visit our website, which is full of information and advice for anyone affected by dyslexia.
