Playing Guidelines
These guidelines must be strictly adhered to for everyone's safety and wellbeing and it will be monitored at all times.
Casual bowling sessions will be booked by phone/on-line in advance. They will be 2-hour sessions, starting at 11:00 (as previous Email), arriving only at the allotted time and finish playing at least 10 mins before the finishing time. This will allow the first 10 mins at the start to change shoes, sanitise and set the kit out and 10 mins at the end of the session to change shoes, sanitise and return jacks and mats and exit the green before the next session starts.
When booking a rink, you will be given a rink number and the direction of play - the direction of play will be also be displayed on the inside of the equipment shed door.
As with the normal rules of play, full members will have booking priority, with social members paying the usual fee of £3 (payment of monies can be sorted if and when this occurs).
At the start of your session always ensure that you keep to the 6-foot (2-metre) distancing rule. When entering the green please be aware that there could be up to 12 persons entering at that time. Go straight to your allocated rink with two members of your team sanitising and picking up the mats and jacks from just inside the equipment shed. Be appropriately dressed and just change your shoes rink side. Play your game and enjoy.
At the end of your session, end your game at least 10 minutes before your allotted end time. Change your shoes. Delegated mat and jack persons to return their equipment and spray sanitise it. Leave the Green before your end time - don't forgot that there may be other members arriving on the hour and ONLY 12 persons are allowed anywhere within the Green area at any one time.
If you are the last member to leave and you can see that no other members are waiting for the next session, look around and ensure that there are no mats or jacks or personal possessions left out, safely retrieve the gate padlock from just inside the equipment shed, lock the equipment shed and put the padlock on the gate and spin the numbers so as not to leave the combination showing.
