Club Events

2027 is the clubs centenary year and currently the committee is attempting to put together the history of the club, however there is a lack of data and photographs and therefore if anyone should have records of the club we would be keen to view these. Contact should be made through the club secretary Sue McClellan.     

Following two successful evenings of games (board, card and dice games), the committee has agreed to continue with these games evenings during the summer.  They are planned to be held on the last Friday in the month starting at 7.00pm. If however there is a major bowls competition on then we will cancel the games evening.

Phyllis and David Bridge have volunteered to continue to run the Friday afternoon Bingo sessions for 2026/2027 from 2 - 4 pm on the following dates:

2026 - 23rd October, 20th November and 18th December.

2027 - 22nd January, 19th February and 19th March.

The club will be having a Christmas Lunch at the White Hart, Margaretting on December 7th meeting at 12.30pm. This is the first of many events the new social committee will be organising for club members.

The Quiz Night will be on 16th January 2027.

A Magic Night has been arranged for 13th March 2027.

In 2027 a Fish & Chip supper will be arranged following the roll up's on the first Friday of the month as follows:

The 7th May, 4th June, 2nd July, and the 6th August.
