Help us celebrate our 10th birthday on 25th April 2026

Groby Library became a Community Library entirely run by volunteers in April 2016.

To celebrate we’re having a Groby Library Festival 25th April 2026 10am-3pm

What’s happening?

Everything will be happening in the Library and the Village Hall

- Author talks

2pm - Talk by well known author TM Logan whose latest book The Weekend is now available. See home page for link to get tickets.

- Children’s crafts

- Book sale - we have a wide selection of second hand paperbacks 50p each and hardbacks £1 each or fill one of our bags for £5

- Cakes for sale

- Refreshments in the library café

- Wriggly readers storytime

- Raffle and tombola with some great prizes

- Construction Club

- Board games

- Book quiz

- Fancy dress competition - come as your favourite book character.
