Welcome to the website of Kitcheners Bowls Club, a club formed in 1923.

Our bowls club is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the historic market town of Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire and the green is in the shadows of the ruins of a 12th C Norman motte & bailey castle.

The club was named after the area in which the green stands. During the First World War, Lord Kitchener stationed his troops there before setting of for France and the troops used the nearby Common to practice trench digging.

We have a six rink green with our own clubhouse with full facilities enabling us to entertain our visiting guests.

Kitcheners is affiliated to Bowls England, Bowls Hertfordshire and the Watford & District B.A.

Please look out for special events.
