The current term - Christmas 2026

Our Christmas concert this year comprises Vivaldi's Gloria as the main work, plus, as we always feature in our Christmas concerts, various carols and readings including audience carols.

In a new initiative that we are very excited by, we are joining forces with New College Chorale based in Wellington, Telford.  The combined choirs with perform the concert twice - once in Church Stretton, in St Laurence's Church, on Saturday 12 December, and then again in Wellington, at Christ Church, on Monday 14 December.

Our last concert - Spring 2026

The major work, in the second half, was Brahms' Liebeslieder - "songs of love" - sung in English.

In the first half, we sang a selection of shorter items from the same era (second half of the nineteenth century) by Sullivan, Stanford and others.
