League Rules and Operation 2021
- Any member who has paid their fees for the 2021 season may participate in the leagues.
- There will be no fee or charge for entry to the leagues.
- The league season will run from Wednesday 29th July to Friday 24th September 2021.
- The following leagues will be open for entry:
Ladies Pairs
Mens Pairs
Mixed Pairs - The closing date for entries will be 21 July 2021.
- Entrants must provide their telephone and email contact details, and agree that they may be communicated to other participants in the league for the purposes of operating the league.
- The exact numbers of players/teams in each league will depend on the total number of entrants.
- Depending on the number of entrants, two or more divisions may be created for a league. Players would be allocated to divisions based on their experience and playing standard.
- Each player/team will be responsible for arranging all their own fixtures by direct contact with another player/team in the league.
- Each team/player will play all other pairs once, except the Ladies which will be twice
- Games may be played at any time during the period of the league – 29 July to 24 September.
- Agree who is responsible for booking the rink and arranging the match.
- The winning pair is responsible for communicating the result to the Competition Secretary.
- Results and league tables will be published on the club’s website.
- There will be no trial ends, full scoring will apply from the first end.
- Pairs will be 15 ends, no extra end in the event of a tie
- Club or white shirts and greys to be worn for all league matches.
- Anything not covered by the rules will be decided by the Competition Secretary
