WAR MEMORIAL

We are very pleased to announce the completion of the Upton Magna War Memorial Stone project (photograph below) and we would like to thank the following businesses for their generous contributions to the parish:

A big thanks to our transportation and installation friends Andy Brooker and Ian Casey who dealt with the key bits, getting it from ‘there to here’, and installed in a structurally sound fashion. Thank you also to all of the local people composing and offering words for the plaque, and the positive involvement from St Lucia’s Church and the support from Reverend Ian Naylor.

 Last but not least, thank you to the parish councillors who contributed their time to make this happen.

SEPTEMBER PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

The date of the next meeting of the Parish Council is scheduled for Thursday, 10th of September. It will be held in the village hall, commencing at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
