CORVEDALE & DISTRICT AUTUMN SHOW ORDER YOUR SEED POTATO NOW FOR THE SPUD IN A BUCKET COMPETITION

Seed potatoes for our ever popular annual Spud in a Bucket competition are now available.

The big reveal of the bucket’s contents is one of the highlights of the Corvedale Autumn Show held each September.

It is surprising how many potatoes can be produced from a single plant!

Entrants are reminded that only official seed potatoes can be entered and the single potato must be grown in a standard two gallon plastic bucket. Foliage can be trimmed but the stem must remain on the plant.

Potatoes cost £1 and can be collected from John Woodhouse (01584 841 359).
