As part of Alton’s Regency Week we invite you to a private tour of Gilbert White’s House.
By the time Austen was living in the area Gilbert White was the most famous author of the area. Our Regency guide will show you around the writer’s home, whilst telling you all baout White’s life and times, as well as the places and people he had in common with Austen.
