2025 Memorial Day: President v Captain match
Saturday 21st June saw our annual Memorial Day President v Captain match. Before the game, a minute’s silence was held for our club friends who have passed: this year we had our late Chairman, Dave Harwood, foremost in our thoughts. Played in hot conditions, the match was won by the Captain's team. Members then enjoyed a sizzling BBQ and range of salads, followed by strawberries & cream, with the costs generously covered by President Bobbie Sims and Captain Tony Bishop.
Our thanks to all those who helped with setting up the green, decorating the clubhouse and green, cooking and providing food, and everyone who turned up and helped make it such an enjoyable day.
