Fancy a drink on a Friday night? Did you know that you don't need to play bowls to enjoy a drink at Willoughby Bowls Club? During the bowls season (April 26th - September 30th), the bar is also open on a Monday evening. If you fancy enjoying a glass of something cold on a warm spring/summer evening, while chatting with friends and watching the sun go down, then the bowls club is the perfect place to be. You can even watch people playing lawn bowls.

We're opening on Monday 6th May and encourage everyone from the village to come along and check out the bowls club and bar.

Are you looking for a new activity for you, your partner, or family to get involved in? Want to increase your daily step count? Perfect, bowls could be the new hobby you didn't know you were missing. Plus, the bowls club is at the top of the village just off Main Street, keeping travel to a minimum.

Whether you're a seasoned player or looking to try something new, our playing facilities are perfect for individuals and families of all age groups and abilities. Everyone is welcome to have a go. No need to bring any equipment, we have plenty of bowls for people to borrow.

If you'd like to, you can enjoy a roll-up on the green, socialise in our licensed bar, and become a part of our welcoming community.

Refreshments and snacks will be available all day. Our licensed bar will be open from noon. If you feel peckish and feel like a drink, pop up to the bowls club and join in the fun. #BowlsAndChill

Monday 18:00 - 22:30 plus match nights (see website)
Opening times 1st October to April 2025:
Friday only 19:00 - 22:30

Willoughby Bowls Club is located at the top of the village, on the right past Willoughby Woods turning.
