Another fantastic tea dance at the British Legion
Dementia-friendly Alton
Another fantastic tea dance at the British Legion. Thanks as always to Geoff and Michelle from Paulob1 Dance School who demonstrated the beautiful waltz, Helen from Bluebird Care Alton, Bordon & Liphook who came to help and dance with cakes in hand yum, Sarah from Timeless Reflections, Paul from Driving Miss Daisy East Hampshire & Alresford who stepped in to bring some lovely ladies from Brendoncare Alton and Mary Rose Mews Nursing Home who were desperate for an outing and of course Pat and Colin from the Legion who allow us to use their venue for free - an amazing example of the community coming together to do something amazing xx as the sing song at the end shows so beautifully.
Have a look at the action on our facebook page https://bit.ly/3pIJzeU
The main video shows clearly how balance and confidence to stand tall can improve quickly when our lovely member left her walking frame to one side to enjoy a social foxtrot with Geoff - the power of dance is truly wonderful:)
