Bowls Open Day - it was fantastic to see the club and the green busy after the long dark months of COVID. The weather was glorious and helped make the day even better.
Big thanks to Derek for organising the activities. Thank you to Brian and John for operating the bar. Another set of thank yous to Tom, Joan, Marlene and Tina for helping out at the supermarkets with publicity.
Short mat bowls was demonstrated by Crudwell and Somerford clubs, so their time is appreciated.
It was great to see many children and grandchildren out on the green. Maybe one day in the future, the club can have a junior section?
