BT Ultrafast Fibre Rollout – Westgate-on-Sea

Openreach are responsible for building and maintaining the UK’s largest broadband network This includes managing the copper phone line network and rolling out cutting-edge full fibre broadband to over 25 million homes and businesses across the UK. Please note Openreach are not a service provider and do not supply packages that allow you to use broadband, watch TV or make phones calls.

Last night at the Westgate-on-Sea Town Council Planning Highways and Environment Committee Openreach gave a short presentation explaining they will be upgrading Westgate-on-Sea to Ultrafast Fibre with work potentially starting at the end of June.
