Design Code for Buckinghamshire

Buckinghamshire Council has been selected as one of 14 local authorities to participate in the national pilot to test the new National Model Design Code. A Design Code is a document that contains design rules for new developments, covering the design of streets, public spaces and buildings, as well as spaces created for water and nature. The Design Code for Buckinghamshire will set rules that developers need to follow. Bucks Council is seeking your opinion on developments in the local areas as well as the problems and issues you may face living in Buckinghamshire, and what you would like to see in future.

Budget Consultation

Residents, businesses and organisations in Buckinghamshire are being asked to give their views on how the council should prioritise its spending next year in the annual budget consultation.

As the council prepares to set its budget for 2022/23, people are being invited to give their opinion on what services and areas should be given a higher priority and where they think savings could be made. The consultation closes on 14 November 2022
