Message from Dartford Borough Council -

We have an extra special International Women's Day event coming to town on 9th March.

Dartford's very own Academy Award winning director Andrea Arnold will be screening her film Fish Tank, before speaking alongside the Director and Choreographer of Dartford Amateur Operatic & Dramatic Society (DAODS), Amy Farlie at a full day of networking and celebrating the achievements of women in Dartford.

  • 3.45pm: Private screening of Fish Tank, for film ticket holders; film lasts approx. two hours.
  • 6pm: Arrival of guests unable to attend the film, for registration/drinks reception
  • 6.15pm: Welcome from Dartford Borough Council to International Women’s Day 2026
  • 6.30pm: Q&A session with Andrea & Amy
  • 7pm: Light refreshments and an opportunity to network
  • 8pm: Event closes

Everyone is welcome to this event, with two sets of tickets available for people who wish to see the film, or join us later in the day a Q&A and networking session.
