Find out more about this community in:

Craster Parish Council has created a Community Projects Fundraising Committee, consisting of representatives from all community groups in the parish who wish to be a part of this Committee.

The purpose of the Committee is to seek donations/funding for community projects and to coordinate the parish’s overall approach to developing support and fundraising for these projects. Local visitors to our area have kindly donated funding towards community projects through our donation boxes at Dunstanburgh Road and the play park.

The Committee is responsible for all fundraising activities in the parish, insofar as they relate to the work of this Committee. The Committee shall make recommendations to the Parish Council on how funding is allocated towards projects.

The funding kindly received from our many visitors has already funded projects such as new flowers and bulbs, hot water bottles for our community as well as funding for our beloved harbour.

You can see a full copy of our Committee's Terms of Reference on this webpage below.

We are delighted to have representatives of Craster Parish Council, St. Peter's Church, Craster WI and the Craster Community Trust on this Committee. We would be delighted to consider representatives from other community groups in the Craster and Dunstan parish area.

If you'd like to represent an organisation within our parish on this Committee, please contact our Parish Clerk Adam on parishcouncil@crastercommunity.org.uk
