Works on the new entrance scheme to Craster village will commence in the next two weeks and the barrels shall be removed. NCC will be working to ensure that the scheme is delivered with as little disruption as possible and we look forward to seeing this finally come to fruition. Copies of the plans for the scheme can be found on this webpage.

Works to improve a number of public footpaths around our parish area have been carried out by our contractor Steve Ternent in the last few weeks and we have already received very positive comments about this work. An enormous thanks to Steve for this.

The planning application for the two holiday lets within the grounds of Dunstan House will finally be going to the North Northumberland Local Area Planning Committee meeting on 20th February, starting at 2pm and will be held at St James Centre in Alnwick.

The Parish Council will be meeting our local MP David Smith in February to raise some important issues highlighted by residents in our recent public consultation. Seeking our MP's support in securing all of the major Mobile Network Operators at our mobile mast is a key issue for discussion.

Following a successful appeal to holiday let owners in our parish, the Parish Council is set to fund and install two new heritage blue plaques celebrating former Harbourmaster "Little Adam"s House as well as the works of designer and artist Leonard Evetts (at Craster Church). An enormous thanks to our holiday let owners for this support.
