Northumberland County Council (NCC) has opened a consultation to consider the future of library services across the county.

Whilst the documents are detailed and some involve changes not directly affecting our Parish, there are direct impacts, including reductions in opening hours, closures of libraries and proposals to further reduce visits from the mobile library service, from visits every other week which, up until recently, we were receiving, to once every 6 weeks.
