CPR and defibrillator training - register your interest
Do you know what to do if someone collapses and stops breathing? Whilst our (brand new) community defibrillator is designed to be used by members of the public without any prior training, it is often helpful for communities to have some basic awareness of CPR and defibrillators, so that users are more calm and confident with what they need to do in an emergency.
Before covid hit last spring, the Parish Council was looking at arranging some community CPR and defib, and we have recently heard that the Heartstart trainer is now booking in some training dates with parishes. If you or anyone you know is interested in getting some training in CPR and using the defib, please register your interest with the parish council clerk so we can contact you when we have some dates agreed.
