Please note the message below only received this morning from Kent Highway Services -

Thames Water - Emergency Road Closure - Powder Mill Lane, Wilmington - 19th March 2026 (Dartford)

It will be necessary to close Powder Mill Lane, Wilmington from 19th March 2026 for up to 12 days.

The road will be closed at the Side of 69 Powder Mill Lane.

The alternative route is via Powder Mill Lane, Fawkes Avenue, Butterly Avenue, A225 Hawley Road, A225 Lowfield Street, A225 Princes Road, Darenth Road and vice versa.

This is to enable Emergency works to repair burst on large trunk main to be carried out by Thames Water.
