The 2023 Hampshire EBYDS School of Excellence Invitation Singles will take place at Banister Park IBC on Sunday 12 February.

Whilst it is not going to the Regional and National finals, we will be running it to a full conclusion of presenting trophies to the winners and runners up for both junior and senior at Banister Park.

We are looking forward to seeing approximately 24 young bowlers competing from Chawton Park, Loddon Vale, Victory and Banister Park.

The day was most successful, all young bowlers present and on time. Banister Park as always are very supportive of Hampshire juniors, and give us the venue free for the day, for which we are extremely grateful. The entrance fee then goes towards the purchase of trophies and engraving, with the help of the raffle.

The winner of the Seniors (age range from 14 up to 18 years) was Jake Palmer of Banister Park, and Runner up was Martin Mason of Loddon Vale.

The winner of the Juniors ( age range from 8 up to 14 years) was Matthew McLoughlin of Banister Park, and Runner up was Edward Armstrong-Field of Chawton Park.

Our congratulations go to the winners and runners up. However we must congratulate all the young bowlers for taking part showing their great bowling skills and etiquette on the green.
