Garden Science Trust would like to thank the two community funds who have recently put us in their token schemes.

Tesco Bags of Help community fund recently chose us for their scheme and we have just received a cheque for £2000 for community gardening over the next year. We are really looking forward to getting out and about again working with children of all ages and adults in the dementia unit of a local residential home. Watch this space for activites and plans for benefiting as many people as possible.

Waitrose also nominated us for their community scheme and we have just received a cheque for £230 from them.

We are a very small independent charity and funding like this which comes local customers means a lot to us. We are very grateful to both stores for enabling the community to choose a local charity to support. Not only is any money received used as effectively as possible to support our lovely service users but it also help us raise our profile and gives us the opportunity to explain what we do and how important our work is to vulnerable people living in and around the area.

And anyone who would like to volunteer to help please contact the office via phone or email! Or drop in (monrings are best) to tell us how you can help please.
