George Bolt Triples Cup.

On Saturday 30th June 30 West End members played for the George Bolt Triples Cup, an annual competition sponsored by Walter H. Squires & Son.
10 Teams of three played 3 games of 6 ends each on a hot sunny afternoon, with our sponsor Ryan Squires looking on.
At the end of an afternoon of friendly competitive bowling event organisers President Ken Berry and Michael Willavoys had their work cut out sorting the scores, but eventually the results were in....
In 4th place S. Andrews, J. Head and J. Clapp.
In 3rd place T. Sykes, C. Hammett and P. Chidgey.
In 2nd place C. Andrews, B. Moore and J. Barrie.
And the wining team who only lost 3 ends out of 18 were,
A. Hill, G. Callagham and B Berry.
Ryan congratulated everyone on their play, then ably assisted by his daughter Beatrice presented everyone with their prize's, with the George Bolt cup being presented to Bill Berry.
Oh and least we forget the wooden spoon, or in this case a Mars bar, went to B. Kerslake, H. Cole and B. Enright, who only managed to win 3 ends all afternoon. Better luck next year.
