Residents in Warwickshire are being asked to share their views on how local policing should be funded next year. A short survey outlines options for the Police Precept, the part of Council Tax that supports policing, and what each choice would mean for services.

The Government’s provisional 2026/27 settlement assumes a £15 rise for a Band D household, providing around two‑thirds of Warwickshire’s expected funding increase. Applying it would help maintain improvements in response times, investigations, technology, and neighbourhood policing; without it, further savings would be needed.

The Commissioner will use residents’ feedback to finalise budget proposals for the Warwickshire Police and Crime Panel in February.
