The Parish Council and Planning from NY Council have checked the field next to the A168/Community Park and can confirm that no significant areas of hedgerow seem to have been removed.
There has been extensive cutting back of the vegetation and collection of the branches in the centre of the field.

“The work carried out appears to be accepted maintenance of an agricultural field, and therefore no harmful breach of planning control was evident.” The work is also outside of the bird breeding season.
