Dear Resident,

Proposed Horton Wood Solar Park
We have previously written to local residents to advise of our intention to submit a planning application for a c. 50 megawatt solar energy park on land 0.9 km east of Horton Kirby, adjacent to Horton Woods.
We have now submitted our planning application which is available online though your district council’s website.
To answer any questions you may have we would like to invite you to a drop in session at Horton Kirby and South Darenth Jubilee Hall, Horton Road, DA4 9AX (DA4 9AZ for satnav) on Thursday 3rd of November. The event will run from 11am to 6.30 pm.
Logical coronavirus measures will be in place at the event, however we appreciate some people may still feel uneasy in attending such events. For anyone with questions on our proposals unable or not wishing to attend the drop in session, our contact details are provided on the back of this flier.

Viewing our application

Our planning application has now been submitted and is being considered by the district council planning team. You can make representations to the planning authority online, by email or in writing.

The reference number for our application is: 22/02599/FUL

The relevant web page for the councils ’planning portal’ is: https://pa.sevenoaks.gov.uk/online-applications/
The authority have identified a consultation deadline of 21st November. Should you reply after the deadline for consultation is over we understand that the authority will consider all representations up until the point that the planning application is determined
The documentation that we have submitted includes a summary of the consultation we undertook in our previous drop in session before the planning application was made. It includes answers to the various questions posed to us through feedback forms and/or references to where the information can be found in the various documents that form the planning application.
We hope that you find our documentation thorough. However, we are happy to receive comments and questions which you may have by email or post. If you are able to attend we look forward to seeing you at our drop in session on the 3rd of November between 11am and 6.30pm.
