We are creating the Worsley Wombles and it would be great if the core of that group could be young families in Godshill especially those with connections to our primary school. We need a small team of volunteers, could it be you?

It will probably be an occasional weekend event, starting in March. It could be made more interesting with a fancy dressed theme. And why don't we have a prize each time for the young Womble who has had the most fun!

The Parish Council will provide the Hi-Viz and all the paraphernalia for litter picking, including, with youngsters involved, litter pickers to suit them. Additional adults from Godshill Matters will ensure a safe environment at all times for the litter pickers.

Irrespective of the litter picked up, it's a great opportunity to get out and do something useful whilst meeting new people & friends.

If you'e like to find out more, please contact Stephen, our Parish Clerk, by email at clerk@godshill-iow-parish.gov.uk or phone 07763 665812.
