Proposal: Demolition of existing structures and erection of 25(no) dwellings and associated car ports and parking (with 40% affordable housing onsite), erection of 2-storey building to be used as children’s nursery and associated parking, provision of open space, biodiversity net gain area and landscape buffering, and associated earthworks, with access from Orchard View.

The planning application for the land at Hockers Farm has been validated by Maidstone Borough Council Planning department and full details can be found on the MBC planning portal. The proposal is on the agenda for the Parish Council meeting on Tuesday 3 March, residents are welcome to attend. Councillors will listen to views of residents and consider the planning application before agreeing a response.

Detling Parish Council is a statutory consultee on planning applications in the parish; Maidstone Borough Council is the Planning Authority and will make the decision on this development.
