ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Carterton WI Hall Contributor My name is Jan and I am the current President of Carterton WI for this year 2025 and a trustee of our hall . I live in Carterton and grew up here as a teenager. I have worked in The NHS during my career spanning 43 years. I wanted to get involved and help the community when I recently retired and joined the WI. The exterior of the WI Hall has been fully renovated and the hall is now closed for full interior renovation.

Phase 2 involves altering the foyer, Ladies and Gentlemans toilets, Disabled toilet.

The main hall will be undergoing wall insulation, new flooring, new storage area, reconfigured stage.

When funds allow Phase 3 will be the full renovation of the kitchen

Our members meetings are currently being held at Gateway School whilst our hall is closed
