Monday 10 November - Gas Update

As many of you know, we’ve taken legal action to challenge Regency’s decision to cut off our gas supply.

Unfortunately, tribunal cases can take a long time to resolve - sometimes months, even years. (The last one we pursued, which resulted in a pitch fee reduction, took well over a year.)

We’ve asked the tribunal to issue an interim order to stop Regency from cutting off the supply until the case is heard. We’re still waiting for a decision on that.

We’ll give it a few more days. If we don’t hear back soon, we’ll advise everyone to go ahead and sign up for gas independently while we continue the case in the background. So if you haven’t signed up yet, please hold off for another 2–3 days. After that, we’ll make a call based on where things stand.

This way, we can all benefit from cheaper gas this winter. And if we win the case, we’ll push for compensation for Regency’s failure to honour the terms of our written agreement.
