Would you like to get more involved in your local Parish and become one of the nine Councillors who invest their time in local projects and issues, giving you the chance to make a difference to the quality of life for people in your local area?

On Thursday 4th May 2023, District and Parish Council elections are taking place across Sevenoaks District.

These elections are held every four years, these are the important dates:

Notice of Election - Friday 17 March 2023

Nomination of candidates - from Monday 20 March to Tuesday 4 April - 10am to 4pm

Registration deadline - Monday 17 April 2023 – midnight

Postal vote application deadline – apply for a postal vote, cancel or amend an existing postal vote - Tuesday 18 April 2023 – 5pm

Proxy vote amendment deadline – to amend an existing proxy vote - Tuesday 18 April 2023 – 5pm

Proxy vote application deadline - Tuesday 25 April 2023 – 5pm

Voter Authority Certificate application deadline - Tuesday 25 April 2023 - 5pm

Election Day – Thursday 4 May 2023 - 7am to 10pm
