Notice of the Adoption of the Dartford Local Plan to 2037

Message fro Dartford Borough Council -

The Dartford Local Plan to 2037 was adopted by the Dartford Borough Council on the 22 April 2024. The adopted Dartford Local Plan guides growth and development in Dartford Borough and sets strategic priorities, objectives and policies for planning applications in the Dartford Borough.

Also to note is that: Any person aggrieved by the Dartford Local Plan to 2037 may, with leave from the High Court, make an application to the High Court under Section 113(3) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 “on the grounds that:

(a) the document is not within the appropriate power;

(b) a procedural requirement has not been complied with.”

Any such application must be made before the end of the period of six weeks beginning with the day after the relevant date. The six-week period commences on 23 April 2024 (the day after adoption) and concludes six weeks later on 4 June 2024.
