There are now two vacancies for the positions of Parish Councillors. Notice is given under Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972. For a by-election to be held to fill each vacancy, requests by TEN registered local government electors in Thruxton must be made by no later than Thursday, 22 January 2026 to: The Returning Officer, Test Valley Borough Council, Beech Hurst, Weyhill Road, Andover, SP10 3AJ. If an election is not requested, the Parish Council will co-opt a person to fill the vacancy as soon as possible. Full details are given on the notice boards at Stanbury Road and Lambourne Close and further details can be obtained by emailing the Clerk at clerk@thruxtonparishcouncil.com

Parish Councillors Suzie Cotterill and Heidi Liechti resigned before Christmas. Suzie is moving away from the village and Heidi has other committments. The Chairman and Parish Council wish them the best for their future and thank them for their good contribution to the Parish Council and Thruxton Village.
