Nottinghamshire County Show – 9th May 2026
The Nottinghamshire County Show returns to Newark Showground on 9th May 2026 and we would love the opportunity to advertise in your local parish.
Make Bake & Grow
In addition, I wanted to share an exciting opportunity for your community — our Make, Bake & Grow competitions! This is a fantastic opportunity for people to showcase their talents, with classes for budding bakers (decorate or bake a cake), gardeners (bring along your home-grown produce) and even more including age specific children’s classes. We would love to see your parish community take part in this celebration of local skills and produce. If possible, please help spread the word among your community members. We hope they will join the fun and impress the judges with their entries! They can enter here.
School Resource Pack
We also offer a School Resource Pack to support learning about agriculture, farming, and creativity in the lead-up to the show. It includes fun activities and pre-show competitions, giving students/families a chance to win tickets and even Membership to the Newark & Notts Agricultural Society! The pack can be downloaded here.
