Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust are keen to hear from groups working for nature recovery:

Over the past 60 years our work has protected and enhanced some of the most important places for nature in Nottinghamshire. We’re passionate about creating a healthy natural world which benefits us all, by putting nature’s recovery at the heart of everything we do.

But we can’t do this on our own. We can all be part of a people-powered movement for nature’s recovery, and we need to act together now. We know that local action, by people who know their areas best, will make the difference.

To support local action we’re creating the Wilder Nottinghamshire network – a place for everyone involved in nature’s recovery across Nottinghamshire to connect, be inspired, share ideas and celebrate success. Together, we can demonstrate impact and encourage more people across the county to make more space for nature.

To share our vision and shape the network, we’re running a series of events in April. We’d love to hear from community groups already supporting nature’s recovery across Nottinghamshire, to hear what you would find most useful from such a network. Please book onto your nearest event below:

Sunday 16th April – Idle Valley Nature Reserve (near Retford)

Morning (10:30 – 12:30) Afternoon (13:30 – 15:30)

Saturday 29th April – The Vine Community Centre (Nottingham)
