MUGA Project Update

We’re excited to share that the Playing Fields Committee has now raised £10,310 towards our revised target of £68,000 to replace the village MUGA.

This target reflects not only the cost of replacement, but also several brilliant improvements that will make the space even better for local children and families. These include:

• rebound panels

• cricket stumps

• basketball line markings

• 3-metre surround fencing along both sides and ends

• noise-reducing fixings

A huge thank you to Riston Primary School and Riston PTFA for providing letters of support. These letters are a vital part of our grant applications and will strongly support our bids.

We’d also like to give special thanks to John Bird of Enviro Aggregates for generously offering free skip hire and waste disposal for the project. This contribution will be added as “donation in kind” within our project fund total.
