With warmer weather approaching, few outdoor activities can be as pleasurable as enjoying a relaxing and a sociable game of bowls on a sunny afternoon or a warm summer’s evening.

Our roll-up sessions are now in progress and take place on Tuesday evenings from 5:30pm and Friday afternoons from 1:45pm. which members of the public are most welcome to attend and experience the sport for themselves. All equipment and basic coaching is provided free of charge so there is no reason not to come along and give it a try. Our members will ensure you receive a warm welcome. Roll-up sessions are relaxed occasions where people may come and go as they please and there is no dress code.

The sport of lawn bowls can be enjoyed by persons of all ages and abilities and there is a much greater social element to being a Club member than many other sports. Information about the Club and the variety of activities that we get up to can be obtained by visiting our website at www.somertonbowlsclub.co.uk.

Just a word of warning, this sport can be addictive!
