NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

S14 (2) ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers issues this notice temporarily to prohibit traffic in the following length of road:-

Sandy Lane, Audlem Ward, Aston, CW5 8FW. Click here for a map.

Due to the immediate nature of the works, the traffic management plan is currently outstanding; the alternative route will follow once known

Vehicular access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents where possible

The immediate closure is necessary for works to be carried out by United Utilities

It is anticipated that the works will take place on the following date(s): Wednesday 4th March 2026 to Tuesday 10th March 2026.
