Severn Trent team will be starting important resilience work at Diddlebury Treatment Works on 5th May.

As part of our planned improvements, we will be carrying out the routine 10‑year inspection of our drinking water tanks. To complete this safely and maintain the highest standards of water quality, we will be installing three temporary above‑ground tanks that will operate together while the main tank is inspected.

We understand that construction work can occasionally bring additional noise or vehicle movements to the area, and we will do all we can to keep disruption to a minimum. Our working hours on site will be 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, and we expect the project to take around five months.

To provide more detail for you and your parish council, I’ve attached a community letter that explains the work in full and includes contact information for any residents who may have questions.

If possible, I would also be grateful if you could share this update on any of your community social platforms or parish communication channels, to help ensure local residents are aware of what’s happening.

If you need anything further, please feel free to get in touch.
You can contact me directly on 07483 529 258 between 08:30am and 4:00pm, or email communitycomms@severntrent.co.uk.
If you do get in touch, please quote the project title: Diddlebury Treatment Works.

Thank you for your time and support.

Kind regards,
