At the UKMSA annual awards, Swanwick Men's Shed was awarded Shed Community Project of the Year for their work in supporting local community projects, in particular, Rowthorne Home for Older people garden project, Lighthouse Charity Shops, Promises Day Nursery, local schools, Girl Guides and Parish Council. The picture shows Frank and Pat Seals receiving the award from Jo Phillips of the Royal Voluntary Service
