EDDC Small Community Grant Award

Following the planting in February 2022, the Friends of Higher Brook Meadow community group has been successful in obtaining vital funding from the EDDC Small Community Grant Fund, which gave the community group the ability to purchase a range of equipment to water, maintain, nurture and protect the trees, plants, and hedgerow going forward. The equipment that was provided, is now in regular use by a group of volunteers formed from the larger Friends of Higher Brook Meadow Green group and the trees and plants are flourishing.
