Following yesterday’s update, we’re pleased to confirm that all customers remain in supply and taps are flowing as normal.

Our water production continues to exceed demand, allowing us to refill reservoirs and strengthen resilience across the network. While there is still a risk that an outage at one of our sites could affect supply, this risk is reducing. We have also brought two additional sites into service supplying Medway and Sittingbourne, further improving our position.

We continue to export more water than usual to South East Water to support them with their significant challenges. This has slowed the rate of our reservoir refill, but we are confident in our ability to manage supply to our customers.

If any issues occur at our sites, we will attempt to move water around the network to minimise the likelihood of customer impact, but we will notify customers at the earliest possible opportunity so they can prepare if the situation does deteriorate.

Bottled water stations and deliveries remain on standby and can be deployed quickly if needed. If you know a vulnerable customer who would need bottled water as a priority, please call 0330 303 0368.

Customers can stay updated via our dedicated Kent water supply webpage. I’ve also included links to our social media posts below – if you’ve not yet done so, we’d be grateful if you could share these with your own networks.

Our next update will be sent tomorrow unless there are significant changes.
