Ightfield Parish Council would like to inform residents that Calverhall Playground will be temporarily closed from Friday 16th January to Wednesday 28th January to allow for essential improvement works.

During this period, contractors will be on site to remove and replace the existing swings, ensuring the playground remains safe and fit for use by the community. For health and safety reasons, public access to the playground will be strictly prohibited for the duration of the works.

Residents are kindly asked not to enter the playground while it is closed. Any person who chooses to do so does so entirely at their own risk, as the site may contain construction materials, open excavations, or other hazards associated with ongoing works. Ightfield Parish Council accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage incurred as a result of unauthorised access during this period.

The Council apologises for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and thanks residents for their patience and cooperation. These works are necessary to improve facilities and ensure a safe and enjoyable play environment for all.

Further updates will be provided should the timetable change.
