Last night, saw the annual Malmesbury and Chippenham Park friendly. It was played in a lovely, convivial manner with everyone enjoying the company of their opposite numbers. Thank you to Chippenham Park for their warm, welcoming hospitality and providing warm food on a slightly colder night than we have been used to. Long may this game remain in the fixture book.

The B rink with Albert, Pete, Tom and Paul saved the day for Malmesbury by winning 32-15 to clinch the game by 71 shots to 70, just one shot in it. Even though they were the last to finish, and with no one left in the crowd because they were eating all the sausages, the B rink outplayed their opposite numbers and secured the victory on the away green. If this had been a league game, Malmesbury would have won 8-6.
