The Parish Council has received news from North Somerset Council that the following speed limit changes and traffic calming measures are in the pipeline.
All of St Georges will become 20mph and speed cushions will be installed along Shepherd's Way, Willow Close and Station Road.
In addition, North Somerset Council are planning to make Brimbleworth Lane safer by installing a small footway and bollard(s) from Weston Recovery to the footpath alongside which is used extensively, especially by children on their way to and from school making the exit visible for road users and pedestrians alike.
