Update on Planning Application NY/2025/0030/ENV

Burniston Parish Council continues to engage with the planning process relating to application NY/2025/0030/ENV for an exploratory gas drilling site at Land East of Mill Yard, Burniston.

The Parish Council has submitted a number of formal responses and representations regarding the application and associated consultations. These include correspondence with North Yorkshire Council, responses to the applicant, and submissions to relevant authorities.

Residents are reminded that they are able to view all application documents and submit their own comments directly via the North Yorkshire Council planning portal. Community participation is an important part of the planning process, and all views will be considered by the determining authority.
