Urgent Road Closure - Chegworth Road, Harrietsham - 6th March 2026 (Maidstone)

It will be necessary to close Chegworth Road, Harrietsham from 6th March 2026 for up to 1 day.

The whole length of the road will be closed, but access will be maintained for residents when it is safe to do so.

The alternative route is via Chegworth Road, A20 Ashford Road, Broomfield Road, Lower Street, Upper Street, Broomfield Road, Gravelly Bottom Road, Lenham Road, and vice versa.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 08:00 hrs and 16:30 hrs.

This is to enable emergency carriageway repair works to be carried out by Kent County Council.
